Freehand hotel

Freehand Los Angeles is a hotel conceived to be inviting and communal. It unites the boundary between a hotel and a hostel. A fundamental principle behind Freehand’s brand is that it is “free to you and me.” A welcoming environment was created using original, vintage architectural details, including marble corridors, muslin fabrics, rich woods, and intense colors and contrasts throughout. The original structure was completed in 1924 and is adorned by a 12-story neon blade sign, the tallest in Los Angeles. The Freehand includes 226 hotel keys, including various floorplans ranging from suites to 59 shared rooms for groups of four, six, or eight.
