Carley MacIntyre

Director of Employee Relations

Carley MacIntyre serves as the Director of Employee Relations for Shangri-La Construction. As Director of Employee Relations, Carley performs human resource management and oversees various (all) aspects of employment, such as compliance with labor law and employment standards, administration of employee benefits, recruiting, and payroll. However, Carley’s greatest impact is in aligning the team around clearly defined core values and a core purpose that positions SLC as best-in-class in the industry, performing as a unified, efficient, and high-functioning team. Ultimately, Carley provides SLC with the structure and the ability to meet business needs through managing SLC's most valuable resource – its employees.

Prior to joining SLC, Carley spent several years overseeing State and Federal prevailing wage projects as a Labor Compliance Consultant. With over ten years’ experience in the construction industry working on both sides for awarding agencies and contractors, being a communicator between the two is one of her strong points.

Carley graduated from Worcester State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and has a certificate in Human Resources from Loyola Marymount University.

After the punch list is complete, the final details are perfected, and the keys are turned over to the client, only one thing remains; the feeling of completing another incredible project, together.
